Dialing Bhutan
The other type of code is Bhutan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Bhutan. Bhutan NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Bhutan. Do not use Bhutan National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Bhutan into Bhutan.
For Bhutan long distance, you have to dial Bhutan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+975 (Bhutan National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Bhutan Code or Bhutan International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Bhutan to outside Bhutan. Do not use Bhutan IDD code when dialing within Bhutan for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Bhutan from outside Bhutan, a Bhutan Country Code is used . Bhutan Country Code however is not used when dialing within Bhutan.
