Dialing Greece
The other type of code is Greece National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Greece. Greece NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Greece. Do not use Greece National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Greece into Greece.
For Greece long distance, you have to dial Greece National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+30 (Greece National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Greece Code or Greece International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Greece to outside Greece. Do not use Greece IDD code when dialing within Greece for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Greece from outside Greece, a Greece Country Code is used . Greece Country Code however is not used when dialing within Greece.
