Dialing Philippines

The other type of code is Philippines National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Philippines. Philippines NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Philippines. Do not use Philippines National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Philippines into Philippines.

For Philippines long distance, you have to dial Philippines National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+63 (Philippines National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Philippines Code or Philippines International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Philippines to outside Philippines. Do not use Philippines IDD code when dialing within Philippines for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Philippines from outside Philippines, a Philippines Country Code is used . Philippines Country Code however is not used when dialing within Philippines.
