Dialing Uzbekistan

The other type of code is Uzbekistan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Uzbekistan. Do not use Uzbekistan National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Uzbekistan into Uzbekistan.

For Uzbekistan long distance, you have to dial Uzbekistan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+998 (Uzbekistan National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Uzbekistan Code or Uzbekistan International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Uzbekistan to outside Uzbekistan. Do not use Uzbekistan IDD code when dialing within Uzbekistan for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Uzbekistan from outside Uzbekistan, a Uzbekistan Country Code is used . Uzbekistan Country Code however is not used when dialing within Uzbekistan.
